Et brev fra State Archives in Liege" bekrefter:

Sir,

we have trace two possible identifications for the person you are interested in:

- Jean Joseph HARDY, baptized in the parish church of Notre-Dames-aux-Fonts in
Liege on 20 April 1750, son of Mathieu Hardy and Caterine GOSWIN

-Bernhard Joseph HARDY, baptized in the paraish church of Saint-Nicolas-Outremeuse in
Liege on 30 April 1755, son of Leonard HARDY and Marie-Jeanne GRANDJEAN-LEJEUNE.

Yours faithfully Paulette Pieyns-Rigo
Head of the Department
